Service Questions

Boat service FAQs

Common questions about getting your boat or outboard serviced at Arrington Marine.

Call (903) 883-4206

How long does a typical repair take?

It depends on the job and the time of year. Many tune-ups and smaller repairs move quickly, while bigger jobs or repairs that need parts ordered take longer. We'll give you an estimate once we diagnose your boat.

Do you work on older two-stroke outboards?

Yes. We work on older two-stroke motors as well as modern four-strokes.

What kinds of boats do you service?

Fishing boats, bass boats, pontoons, jon boats and family runabouts. If it has an outboard, give us a call.

How often should my outboard be serviced?

Most manufacturers recommend routine service about once a year or every 100 hours of use, whichever comes first. Your owner's manual has the exact schedule for your motor.

Do I need an appointment?

Call ahead or send a service request so we can plan for your boat. Drop-offs are Tuesday through Saturday during shop hours.
